About SFS
How SFS came into being
Sebiz Finishing School or SFS as it is popularly known was set up over 17 years ago to cater to the resource crunch of Sebiz and Netsmartz, our parent companies. Trained freshers were impossible to find and almost every IT company spent 4-6 months training freshers just so they could competently start working on projects. That is why SFS was created – an institute that would train fresh IT graduates on current technologies and offer them work experience on live projects so we could hire these youngsters and have them work on client projects from Day 1. It worked so well that other IT companies were also interested in hiring our alumni. SFS picked up steam fast and never looked back! Today it has arguably the finest faculty in the region, veterans, many of them with over 10 years of experience. SFS has unmatched infrastructure offering cutting edge systems, a fast broadband connection, sports facilities, library, a well-equipped cafeteria and a great placement program.
Highlights of SFS
Industrial Training
Industrial Trainings are high-quality courses of 6 Months and 6 Weeks duration within the Sebiz campus with courses covering .Net, PHP, QA, iPhone, Android and Java. Courses in allied subjects like HR, Finance and Sales & Marketing are also offered. Similar courses are offered through the Centers of Excellence Programs pioneered by SFS and conducted on college campuses in the region.
Emphasis on soft skills and communication
Sessions on business etiquette, workshops on acing interviews, group discussions and preparing resumes are frequently held by professional trainers. This translates into confidence for the real world.
Work on live projects with experienced developers
A large part of the Industrial Training is spent working on live projects. As an SFS student, you get to communicate with clients and work with experienced professionals. This actually provides a taste of the corporate environment and goes a long way in instilling confidence.

SFS operates from Sebiz Square and has a state of the art facility with 10,000 square feet of unrestricted space, a 90 seat auditorium, cafeteria, full power backup and classrooms equipped with top of the line computer systems.
